Abstract:

The Web is a global information space comprising of documents that are linked through hyperlinks. As the Web becomes ever more prominent in our everyday lives, there is a growing interest and need to provide more sophisticated access to information that is not only found in Web documents. Linked Data provides a publishing paradigm where both documents and data are first class citizens. In this talk we will discuss the principles and web architecture for Linked Data, the Linked Data Lifecycle, and present projects and tools for managing Linked Data.
